Mike and I as of tomorrow have only 599 days until we walk down the isle. Neither of us have our jobs set in place and I feel like there is so much to do. I am so excited because when everything comes together I am going to feel so relieved but wish that it had not gone so fast so I need to sit back and enjoy every second. About the planning. Everything will be just fine. No matter how long you plan, there will always be something else to do. So, never get discouraged in any way by thinking that you failed. As you plan.. always keep in mind the real reason for the wedding in the first place. It is a time for you and Mike to publicly make a commitment to each other. The decorations and everything else is not even the icing on the cake - it is the confetti. Mike is the cake, your friends and family being there is the icing...... Just do the basics and rely on your friends and family to do whatever they offer to do. That is what they are for!! Everything is going to be beautiful and perfect - because no matter how many things are "forgotten" or "left out" you are marrying the one that is perfect for you. And as everyone sits and watches you two look at each other that will determine how beautiful the wedding was not if this was done or that was done etc. If there is anything I can do like over the internet please let me help. Seriously....

What a beautiful picture at the top of your blog :) So, only a couple hundred days until the BIG one! I know you're ready for the wedding day, but ENJOY the engagement! You'll be his wife forever, but you're only his fiance for a little while, so have fun with it! My marriage advice for you: KEEP DATING EACHOTHER! Don't settle into a "rut"; always keep it exciting & new; go on dates & be spontaneous. There's nothing like being married to your best friend! I'm so excited for you. Love you!
