81 Days
Sorry there has been a little set back with my blogging in the past week a lot has happened with wedding plans and plans after our vows. I got a phone call a few days ago from Erin Moss from Wildwood and she told me that she was leaving the Metroparks due to health reasons and that she is hoping that her position is filled before our big day gets here. Now your wondering why this is a set back well as you know we have been engaged for almost 2 years already and I have created relationships with our vendors and they have me down to a T as a person my likes and dislikes they know how to keep me calm when things worry me.Erin is the head of all of our vendors, she has set up connections for me. The manor house was going to bend some rules for me because they respect Erins judgement and now she is gone I have a last meeting with her tonight and I am hoping this calms my nerves a little.
Another huge thing that has happened is Michael came home from a meeting with his boss yesterday and said he was let go from Erie West. He would be paid through the month but after that we would be without an income. My first reaction was anger then sadness and now I just feel like we have to move on this is just a small mountain in our life and once we arrive on the other side we will be grateful for it, because it made us stronger human beings and closer to the Lord. I ask that you pray for Michael and I through this glitche, that we will lean on the Lord and he will provide all we NEED!

Business
Lambertville’s Skin Laser and Day Spa expands
Written by Mary Petrides | | mpetrides@toledofreepress.com
Vanessa Williams said the best part of the spa business is helping people feel good about themselves — and it’s something she does well.
“I call her my little angel,” said Suzi Miller, who owns a barber shop just up the street from Williams’ Skin Laser and Day Spa. She’s seen Williams for laser facial treatments for three or four years and has been pleased with the results.
“She made me feel a whole lot better about myself,” Miller said.
“I said, ‘If anybody puts fire near my face, you do it’ — I have to trust them,” she said.
The spa, located in Lambertville, Mich., recently expanded, almost doubling in size and adding about 1,500 square feet to its facility. The expansion includes new manicure and pedicure stations, two new massage stations and fresh paint.
“It took me about four and a half hours to pick the colors,” Williams said.
Skin offers more services than most spas, Williams said. Its menu lists dozens of services, including laser hair removal, massages, manicures and pedicures.
On a busy day, between 50 and 75 people come to the spa, Williams said, and the store has seen a 65 percent increase in traffic since the expansion was completed. She said 98.9 percent of her clients return.
Miller said she knows why.
“It’s Vanessa,” she said. “She’ll bend over backwards for you. I just think she’s a wonderful person.”
Miller said the spa has a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Miller has cut hair for 34 years at various barbershops. She had a falling out with one barbershop, she said, and she called Williams. Williams allowed her to work at the spa as a subcontractor, cutting hair.
“I would have lost everything if it wasn’t for her,” Miller said.
Miller has since opened her own barbershop up the street and said she’s in good hands at Skin.
“You know when you go there, you know it’s going to be perfect,” Miller said.

94- 89 days
Okay Okay so I haven't blogged in a few days I was in upper MI with friends and family it was a blast. Being there this weekend made me look at life completely differant as I was sitting around the campfire and looking at all the faces I realized how life flies by and how those people have been in my life for a long time and it feels like yesterday that I met them. I was chatting with two of the groomsmen about the guest situation (situation being guest or no guest on invite) I have limited seating so I have to put on the invitation "due to limited seating we request that only the people addressed on the envelope come to the reception." My guests and some of Mikes guests were saying that isn't fair but it is totally fair, I am only putting the people I want there ,names on the invitation. For instance some of my friends and Mikes friends have not been dating anyone for any length of time so therefore what good would it be for me to kick someone off the guest list that means something to us for someone we don't know to come to the wedding. I know it sounds bratty but if you really think about it it makes a lot of sence when you can only invite 250 people to your wedding.

95 Days
Today I woke up and felt very unorganized. I have so many things left to do before the wedding gets here but part of me feels like it is still far enough away that I can breathe until after our trip this coming weekend. My shower stuff is taking up an entire room in our humble abode. I love looking at it all and thinking about using it in a few months and I get so excited. Yesterday I took the day off and just reorganized my life, well not really my life just Mikes closet. His closet was horrible, old basketball shorts from basketall season on the floor winter pajama pants. Then I went to the store and bought him some new swim trunks and some new white T-shirts for work. I know I know boring stuff, but that is what my day off consisted of. Andrea and Michelle came over and we watched bathelorette. It was fun because before that we sat around and talked about my shower and looked at andrea's pictures from the shower. Then I went to bed ugh man was I sleepy. Boring entry ha ha

98 Days
Setting up for your own shower is a very strange feeling it was weird because I keep thinking it is Andreas shower or someone elses. I know its mine it just doesn't feel like mine. I really hope our wedding feels like our wedding because I don't like this feeling. I hope tommorow on the actual day of the shower I get some sort of attachment to the shower. We went to my Aunt Christies and had so much fun. Andrea has worked so hard to make it such an amazing day for me I could not of asked for a better Maid of Honor. I ate carbs today and I am feeling pretty yuck and I am eating them again tommorow. We were taking pictures and I finally feel like I am looking good in pictures again. Andrea and I ended the evening in bed again sippping bubbly and watching How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (OUR FAV)

Busy busy busy! Me my mother grace and andrea all ran around the world today getting things for the shower and man was it a busy day. But it was so fun. Andrea and I finished the games and all of the decor and we are ready for the shower to be here. I ended the day in bed with Andrea watching DC Cupcakes and crying through say yes to the dress.

100 Days Of Bridal Bliss
I have decided as the intelligent human being that I am, I am going to blog the next 100 days of singledom. I thought it would be interesting to have people read the things that go through a brides head everyday up until the day I take the plunge. It is so interesting that I think this will be interesting but if you don't like it don't read it.
It is so crazy to me that 100 days from now I will no longer be Ashlea Christine Bomar but I will be Ashlea Christine Nicol it feels like a whole new identity would take place the second your name changes. For 26 years now I have been a Bomar, and it is such a strong family name. I know that when I actually change my name it wont feel any different, but it is fun to think about the day I actually change it. Michael and I have had the discussion about name changing a lot, how some girls hyphenate and how some girls just don't ever change there name. There has actually been instances in this fine country of ours where the girl refuses to change her name and demands that the man change his. Well don't get offended woman of America but I think that taking a mans name is a privilege and has nothing to do with being "HIS". Taking his name isn't a watermark or branding, it is an amazing privilege.Becoming a Nicol is like a step up from what I was. Mikes last name becoming my last name it excites me just thinking about it.
Today waking up I had the worst headache in the history of my life and I of course plopped on the scale and I was stuck at 168.4 like I have been for the past week. I knew that within those ten minutes of my morning the day would be interesting . I don't have bad days so I don't want to say I knew it would be bad I think interesting explains it well. So I got ready for my massage and new that it would probably help and I should of told Kim to work on my head but then the rest of the body just feels deprived. Just so you know my massage therapist is really my therapist I know I don't need one but when someone is pulling toxins out of your body and releasing energy you have this feeling like, I can tell this person anything. Massage is a really spiritual experience. Every one in my life says I should let out feelings more then I do and then all that congestion wouldn't be sitting in my back. But at this time getting upset over the silly little things seems so trivial to me if I am looking at the bigger picture. Most things are not "a hill to die on" as my mother says ,they are just speed bumps and you drive over them and pick up speed again. So this is why I had congestion in my neck and back. After my massage my headache was worse in fact it was one of those nauseating ones ugh I hate it. Kim gave me Excedrin Migraine and told me to drink gallons of water, so I did and it worked and just in time for my first appointment of the day. Mom. I love when my mom comes to get her nails done, it is so fun who wouldn't love having there mom at work for 2 hours with them? Well anyway she was getting all pretty because I have my first shower on Sunday. This shower is going to be amazing. It is themed Breakfast at Tiffanys. Andrea and I put in the invites to wear; a big hat ,black dress and fancy jewelry. I am so excited to see what everyone shows up in.I just got my dress last night ,that might have something to do with the congestion in my back. I am so excited about it. After work I went to dinner with Mike and stuck to salad and chicken, because I am a faithful dieter, while he ate pancakes, men they disgust me.
Until tomorrow friends

Things are Coming together
I am loving that the wedding is only 123 days away. Things are really coming together and it is so exciting I am happy about everything and the big glitches that have happened have been very small compaired to some horror stories I have heard. My showers will be here soon and I feel like those are really going to make me feel like a bride I am so excited. I will keep everyone updated about these things.

I got my dress
I am so happy I cannot believe I got my dress. I really thought it was going to be way harder but it really was an easier process then I thought. Everyone told me that I would just know and I didn't think that with me this would happen. I tried on some dresses and thought that it could be that dress and then the lady brought me a dress and it was way smaller then my size and so I was already turned off by it and she told me that I should just try it, because she felt like I would like it if I could just get it on I had trouble gettng it over my boobs and I wanted it off because I was feeling self conscience and then it was on and I turned around and I started crying and got goosepimples all over my body this was it this dress was the one and there was no turning back my mom was cryng and so was andrea it was a really great moment.
